I found myself here one Saturday night after misinterpreting a flyer posted down at the Gabbions which made mention of "free refreshments and good company." Thinking that this was a wink and a nod to some down-home hedonism I headed out to Glennie with a fifth of Crown in my hand and a smile on my face. Upon arriving I immediately received a hug from a young lady who smelled of lilac and chewing tobacco, and felt confident that things were about to get weird. After about five minutes I realized the only thing being swapped was stale donuts and right wing lunacy. Those boys are a coon's tail shy of worshiping aliens. I managed to escape before the congregation could start howling at the moon and stumbled over to the tavern to medicate myself with a warm draft. I ended up salvaging the night thanks to some cold chicken wings and Karaoke.
